means “dreamlike / dreamy”
Where Soil, Soul & Synergy meet: Welcome to our ονειρική, an emerging regenerative paradise in Messinia, GR. On 1.5 ha of fertile land with an incredible view over the mediterreanen Sea and the Taygetos mountain chain, our vision is to be stewarding this unique place into:
A syntropic paradise
for human & beyond-human beings, rooted in the web of life
A Living Lab & Learning Hub
for regenerative agriculture & olive farming in the mediterreanen climate
A Welcoming Home
for everyone who comes in peace, for short- mid- and long-term stays

Our starting point
- 1.5 ha of fertile land on a gentle slope
- ~300 olive trees, some of them over 100 years old
- Two old fig trees
- Almond, citrus trees, ~80 grapevines
- A flat, fertile area that used to be a vegetable garden
- Clay-dense soils
- A modest traditional clay house with anything we need to start (fountain, old bread oven, terrace with sea view, kitchen, bathroom, living- and bedroom)
Our Guiding Themes
Our understanding of Regeneration is rooted in three intertwined Themes, which complement and inform each other.
Soil
The Base: Aliveness. All life on land is rooted in the living skin of Earth.
- Soil health, composting, biochar, microbial life
- Curiosity for agroecology, regenerative agriculture, syntropic agroforestry
- Diversifying beyond olives: local and old varieties of fruit, nuts, grains, vegetables, herbs
- Nature-based design
The land becomes a place of care, practice, and shared (un-)learning.
Soul
Relationships & Cultures. Allowing place, people and seasons shape what wants to emerge.
- Retreat- & learning space, community kitchen
- Yoga, meditation, therapy and bodywork space
- Bioregional weaving, cultural events, storytelling of life-centered narratives
- Workshops, trainings, residencies, seasonal gatherings
The place organically grows into a regenerative hub, rooted in land and community.
Synergy
Energy & Resources. Creating conditions for resources to flow freely.
- Trade of products from the land: olive oil, fruits, herbs, fermented goods
- Workshops, retreats, learning programs
- facilitation, regenerative design, consultancy
- Cultural events, gatherings, residencies
- Partnerships with NGOs, like-minded networks and research institutions
Stewarding a regenerative economy that supports land, people and all generations of beings.
